Our pieces are locally manufactured in Lucknow, India, where they are meticulously hand-embroidered using traditional design techniques with a modern flare.

Born and raised in Lucknow, founder  Mati-ur Rehman had the idea of bringing the art of chikan embroidery to Mumbai. In 1976, he established his first location on Hill Road – and Lucknowi Crafts was born. Matiur, lovingly known as Mati, passed his legacy on to the next generation. His son, Saif Rehman, manages the Bandra, Mumbai store since two decades now and has established a thriving e-commerce business.
